BIOS not wotking- MSI p67s-c43 motherboard

hello!

i have a problem. a couple days ago i tried to update my BIOS (i have msi p67s-c43 motherboard), but something went wrong. my computer stopped working properely and i was recieving two beeps. after spending a day i managed to do the AMIBOOT.ROM trick with USB and i thought i wont have any more problems. but actually that flash did not work properely and now, i cannot do AMIBOOT.ROM flash again, and my motherboard is not responding anymore. i am not recieveing any beeps at start as i did before, even if i take RAM or other componens from the moba. but lights on moba are still turning on, when i start the computer and so do HDD, video card, .... now i do not know what to do in order to make my motherboard running well again.

thanks for your help

unless your motherboard has 2 bios your motherboard is more than likely bricked. youve lost your bios so your computer is dead. frown.gif . how did it fail? i know MSI have an OS based flashing software, also talk to MSI and you might get lucky although its not likely. sorry to break it to you. if you do however want a new board similar i'd recomend an MSI 7ZZA-GD45, its an inexpensive board with alot of features. best advice is to talk to MSI and although im sure they wont do anything its worth a shot

actually i am almost certain i flashed correct file, i managed to get to the menu and start uploading new bios, but after restarting my computer stopped responding.
anyway if i understand right my motherboard is probably bricked, although the led indicators are still flashing and every other parts seems to run properly.

and i have another question: i still have about 1 month of warranty left, but did i void my warranty by doing sometning incorrect?

maybe the bios is corrupt. hmm did it say it was successful or post any errors while flashing. did you get the flash from MSI'S website. also im pretty sure you flash at your own risk in the warranty but if it was successful and the right bios you might be able to put an argument in. do you get anything on screen at all?

i cant get to bios*? i think thats what you meant i hope because if you can get to your bios you should be fine. if you cant get to the bios at all and theres nothing on screen youve bricked it. i think, however i may be wrong that the reason fans and LED's are on and fans etc is because there not directly controlled by the bios but there own seperate chip. which is unaffected by the bios. so yeah talk to msi and hope they can sort you out if not i dont know what else to do
