Help me pick a PSU

Thread Starter
I am getting tired of trying to decide which PSU I want to buy so I need someone to pick one or a couple for me. It will be going in the sig rig and I would like the headroom for another 7950 if I so decide. Would like long cables and pre sleeved if at all possible!

Thanks guys

PS: Try to stay below 100 bucks if you can.

Here you go, Capstone 750-M @ 90$ after promo code, excellent unit at a brilliant price.

The only brands I trust are Seasonic and Corsair. If you want Sleeved, then you will have to pay a premium for them. Seasonic dont usually do sleeved cables, but Corsair does.

$90 after rebate: 650 W sleeved http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139031
$109 after rebate: 850 W sleeved http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139012

The "pretty" sleeved ones, though, are for the ~1000W ones. I would suggest to get a Fully modular PSU and just buy the sleeved cables. All Seasonic X series PSU's of 550+W are fully modular.

EDIT: These are examples of the cables you can buy http://bit.ly/TirEIE

Just get a Modular PSU in your price range, and buy the cables you need in the length you want.

EDIT2: If you buy a Corsair PSU, you can buy the sleeved cables here http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/psu-accessories-1.html

You should start trusting other reliable companies

You simply can't beat that deal... there's nothing remotely close to it currently on newegg.
At ~80$ after promo code you could get a Kingwin Absolute Platinum 550W, which is an excellent deal also, offers 4x PCIe connectors as well and can function as a 650W Gold unit (just like it's modular and fanless counterparts), but unlike the Capstone-M, it's not modular.

It's done, Rosewill Capstone is on its way with some sleeved extensions from FrozenCPU because I do not have the time to do it myself right now. Thanks for the help.thumb.gif
