Yep, I want the Sony Xperia Z.

What do you guys think?

Looks like an ergonomically retarded version of the Xperia T.

Yuck not buying.

And only Snapdragon S4 Pro means that sony is way behind in the tech race. It will become outdated by May this year. Don't waste your money on this one.

Waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is a much better choice since it will be the first smartphone to have the Cortex-A15 CPU technology.

If the Galaxy S4 follows suit with Samsungs recent designs then it's going to have mediocre ID paired with meh build quality. I'm fine with the usage of polycarbonate but it should be built like the Lumia 920.

Sony's always had excellent ID and it shows with the Xperia Z. I wouldn't say it's their best work but it still is definitely a step up from Samsung. Minimal, clean and well executed.

Honestly, your opinion isn't even valid because you hate anything that isn't Samsung. Prove me wrong.

This. Koehler's opinion on this forum is completely one sided. It's the Android version of the Apple Sheeple. It's disgusting. It's degenerative to the community. The blind leading the blind. No form of logic taking place when he puts fingers to keyboard in this section. Everything is Samsung Yay, everything else Nay.

Completely close minded. The SGS3 has terrible build quality. I hope the S4 improves on that aspect and it will probably be a better phone than this Sony for sure, but that's not the point of this thread at all. You should take a perspective from the advancement of technology and cool features like the ability to dunk a phone in water. Sure, most people probably don't need that, but if you can go swimming with your phone, why not?

The phone is great. It beats a lot of phones out now and that's all that really matters. The build quality is fantastic. It looks great. It's pretty useful and durable. 443ppi screen. It's definitely a phone people might consider.

I'm definitely happy Sony's starting to get their act together... It's been 6 years since I bought any Sony hardware, and that was just my PS3. Probably been a decade or more since I bought any of their portable stuff.

Hopefully we see a nice dev community coming together once Sony's new stuff launches biggrin.gif
