Makes hunter games easy as can be. I almost wish this spot wasn't there on the map so you could actually go out and play hunter (as a cell operative) and still win, instead of camping to win. But unfortunately, this is the single best spot on that map to survive in.

I found that spot very early on now i always check it when I'm hunter , also there are people usually hiding in the elevator shaft thumb.gif

If you go shotgun spec and grab the ammo dump near the entrances to the tunnels before you get to the camp spot, there is almost no chance of you dying there unless you alt-tab/afk.

The entire point of Hunter Mode is to camp in tight/enclosed areas (as the Cell team), going into the open is the quickest way to die because you can't see your enemies and they can 1-shot you across the map.
I only played ~10 or so rounds of Hunter Mode, every single time we went to the same spots which forced the Hunter team into close quarters and then we spammed EMP grenades into entry/exit choke points. It just got really repetitive...I don't see the appeal.

Plus the bow is hilariously awful to use because it takes half a second to fire, it's very easy to miss a moving target, the rate of fire is super-slow....and when fully pulled-back can only move at walking speed LOL rolleyes.gif

Personally I'm used to playing on a 120hz so I turn settings down to Medium-High to keep 90+ fps.

Keep in mind that the kind of performance you see in singleplayer and multiplayer may differ by quite a bit.
I'm running a 60hz monitor will fps vary for myself cause its not 120hz and does it make a huge difference with AA off in graphics quality?

Unless you have a horde of hunters cramming arrows down your throat. That spot is old news and regularly checked, unless your playing a noob team.

Its not really the point imo.

Running like hell (as a cell....it rhymes...) is also a very good strategy. As you saying its easy to miss a moving target with the bow.

When you're stomping around in a group of three/four or at least a pair, it seems quite easy to kill hunters.

Also, if you're constantly moving and your proximity meter is consistently doing that bone tingling alarm sound, you can know for sure a hunter is following you.

When that happens, you can turn a corner, wait for them to appear and blast away. I seem to get a lot of hunter kills that way.

Enjoying it so far. My best so far has been an 18 and 4 in crash site. Not enjoying huntermode very much. Mainly because I suck really bad at it when I'm the cell lol.

Zig zag. Only way I survive when I know I'm being chased. Slide when possible, etc. I've been the lone survivor many times due to moving unpredictably.

I get absolutely terrible performance. I am not a picky fellow, but it was unplayable for me. I had my gtx570 OC'd to oblivion and ALL MAX including AA was still hideous and I was getting a max of 18fps.

Turned AA down to low and I got around 30fps and there were multiple times where things were so rough and jagged that I couldn't even tell what they were. Plants looked like "Z"s staked on top of each other. This crap better be fixed when the product is released and the optimization better also be fixed. I should not be getting less than 30 fps maxed on my card OC'd where its at. And even if my card WAS incapable, those 15fps better be some photo-realistic ****, which it is not.

Is anyone else getting these problems?
