*shrug* I honestly don't notice a difference between the two. The "smoothness" nVidia users discuss isn't apparent to me, and I'm gaming on a 120Hz monitor. They're both really good, however, unless you really like PhysX or are folding, there is no reason to pay more money for a 680 over a 7970 GHz. That's just my opinion though.

SLI and CF are both plagued with troubles. Single card is really the only way to go, but I fully understand why people go multi gpu. I don't understand, why, in 2013 they haven't figured it out yet.

So how is the downsampling going for the AMD side? http://www.overclock.net/t/1351914/neogaf-downsampling-a-simple-method-for-making-your-pc-games-look-better

That's what I thought. +1 for the green team.

Lol dude where do you live?

Also about the skyrim modding. Amd is fine with enb. I can easily top out my 3gb vram and still produce playable frames(45-60) and i am on eyefinity.Amd is stronger this generation especially for modding.Higher memory bandwidth + 1 gb more vram

Ah good, so you're having no issues using UseComplexIndirectLighting then with ENB? Perhaps the 7xxx series fares better than previous iterations. VRAM has nothing to do with it. And clearly I am wasting my time with you. Please, educate yourself. http://www.enbdev.com/index_en.htm I have over 100 posts on enbdev from the last year.

I'm not going to butt heads here about ENB. It's developed for nvidia cards and it runs better on nvidia cards and that is coming from the creator of ENB.

If downsampling is also working well for AMD users then that's just dandy. I might read up on it.

EDIT: It seems the utility is no longer functional with the latest catalyst 13.1 drivers. I will try to post an update when there's any news on a fix or a newer version.

Oh?

There is a substantial quality difference.

That AMD downsampling program looks to be a 3rd party java app?

I dont care about downsampling. I have a 1440p monitor and i dont choose graphic card because of the downsampling support. And its funny that the post that you linked have the same downsampling guide for amd that i posted too. If it works even if it is a 3rd party java program i dont see any problem with that.
