They improved the front panel:

Better fan mount and dust filter, it seems.

For some reason I feel like it's Fractal Design + Corsair. Probably just because of the company logo placement and mesh being flush to the surface unlike the previous case where the mesh on the front panel was not flush to the surface. IIRC, Corsair cases have the mesh flush to the surface like the top of the 600T.

At last they made a front panel with true fan mounts for both 120 and 140 mm fans, instead of the 140 fan clips they used in version 1.
just hope as well that they extended the rad support to 360 at the top ^^
post #15 of 278
From the video I saw you might be able to modify to mount a 360rad.
Look at 2:25

Don't quite see how you'll be able to put thicker radiators under the top like they say, maybe 240s. If I could fit my 60mm thick x 280 rad under the top I'd buy it. It would have to be a very wide case to do it though, because the rad is going to hit the top of the motherboard.

I'm glad they fixed the front panel; It was easily the biggest problem on the first version. Also nice they included the windowed panel by default. The case itself is amazing - 140mm fans are obviously better than their 120mm counterparts, and it is plenty wide for cable routing in the back. The airflow is also spectacular, ESPECIALLY if you flip the forward most top fan position to intake.

Only other thing I wish they added were latches for the side panels instead of thumbscrews - Oh well.

thicker radiators easily fit in the front. only a full size case would accommodate such thick radiators on top. enough room there for a slim radiator and fans

Eh I would like that too but I don't think Fractal will ever do it. The offset fan mounts are part of what makes the midi the midi. The Define isn't catered towards water cooling as much, and it doesn't have that top mesh so offset fan grills would look funny.

How do these Fractal cases compare in person to a Silverstone case that's aluminum like my TJ? Do they look as nice?
