I guess I have been out of the cooling threads for too long now. Are people moving away from 360/420 radiator in favor of dual 240/280? Are the CPUs getting heat efficient enough again that the 360s are no longer needed?

Not always. Some people do not want full towers. So this case is perfect for watercooling for it's size.
I used full towers for years, now I want smaller case, but to be able to give me the option to watercool.

I can not wait for this, March is still too far away.

I always have liked the looks and layout of Fractal's towers, but I can't say I much care for mid towers in general.

And I just bought my Arc Midi last month for $60 + shipping/ tax = $90 -_- . Might pick this up for another build. Really like the offset rad mounting on top (especialy with the xspc rx240 rad in p+p) and now this one offers room for another 240 rad upfront too.

Yup. I'm not super thrilled with the fan layout on top. I would have preferred that they kept all 3 in the same row. I'm guessing the front fan mount might have clashed with the 5.25 bay though. I'll likely end up getting the H240 (280mm) and mount that on the rearmost mounts.

You don't need to mount a radiator with every hole. You could mount a 360 radiator with two of the fans and just mount the third fan directly to the radiator without attaching it to the case.
