The fans over the rad, look like the blades are molded into the rim of the fan housing. Also I'm curious to what HDDs you are using and how they were made/modified. I've seen WD sell raptors like that but, the only viewable part was the platters, not the magnets that drive the head.

No clue on the HDDs, but the fans are NoiseBlocker ELoops.

yeah, the fans are noise blockers as dman811 said, the hdd's are seagate constellation2 1tb server drives and are causing all kinds of grief:mad:mad.gifmad.gif it is actually up and running at the moment but without the drives connected and messy with wires everywhere waiting on response from seagate about hdd issue before final assy but here is a pic of the mobo etc

stumbled asross this thread a few days ago. I've been trying to organize a build for a while and finally getting moving with a job change and access to better equipment. Stainless and wood are my materials and am going to be testing my stainless panel layout tomorrow on a cnc plasma table. Not sure how this .dwg file will show here, But here are 2 layouts one for 360mm and one for 480mm.

Nevermind, screenshots. Actual burn file will not have hole as they are too small and will have to be drilled or punched.
Planning on framing the panels in black walnut or cherry and will be part of pedestal. 2 - 480mm on side, 360mm in the front and 2- 200mm cut outs for the back.
Also have access to different types of screen and figuring out how I want to mount rads; with screens, without, fans on outside, fans on inside, ect. ect.
This will be incorporated with a new 3770k build. Once I have everything moving, and have plenty of substance,I'll start a log.

Update: Well, looks like I'll have to do some tuning to burn parameters. I got some burn out at the corners, and tbh, most of the work done at my shop isn't this " fine" .
The lines are also a little out of straight. I think I can get a handle on it with some more testing.

Well I dont really have the money to build this right now but I just put it into that Win Your Ultimate Rig contest so if I ever won this is what I would be building. Are there any comments on it? Like would there be so much heat inside it would all just melt? >.<<br />

I would love to see this built, as for heat if your not overclocking and using reasonable components you should be fine. Nice work!

That Blu-ray writer, covering your SSD will not help, looks like it would sit close to the fans, and be pretty restrictive. IMO

Do you realize that your entire computer will be cooled with only 2x80-92mm fans wth.gif Oh and how does the PSU and GPU breath?

That GPU discharges air into the case more then out. The concept is great, the design is cool looking, just some minor issues to overcome I think thumb.gif
