Just a word to Quality :

As an old Alphacoolfan i've noticed it too late that EKWB has much better Quality depending on their Products !!
I've noticed on new Components that they have some scratches out of the Fab !!

But Alphacool is producing in China and EKWB produces in Slovenia maybe thats the little Thing !

The other components were looking great and with no scratches or something !

I like that !

Maybe someone will think why do i need it ?!

Cause i wanna have it and i just wanna get the Cooling Components separately ,or away from hardware !

The next goal is that i wanna bench with this Thing ,and if i have enough Coolingpower i will upgrade my GTX 670 FTW with a EKWB Fullcovercooler !

U seen an Issue , tell me please .

Next week the Box will be cuted for the Radiators , a mate from my work will help me doing this !

I'm a little nervous ...

...to be continued !!

Summary : (all will be updated to the first Post when it's done !!)

1st. Thing is that i have to drill 2 Holes with a Screw Tap which fitts for the Thumb Screws i use (Cooler Master).

A little Flexing for the Closures i'm doing today on my own with a Dremel 4000 ( hope it works ).

The hardest Thing was to find this Metallbox from Allit ,newer ones are all made of Plastic .

BTW : It tooked me 1 hour to find out the right hole size cause i've no calipers .

The drilling and Screw Tapping (is this right?or should it be called drill thread ?) was done in 5 mins.

So here a the Results :

The next Thing today i do will be cleaning the Radiators with cillit bang to get rid of the arrears .

Done .

Update :

Today i'm marking the LCD Temp Window and the Aqua Computer Filter Strainer .

Done.

After this i'm marking the Radiators for the flexing .

Next Step is flexing which i have to do monday @ my workplace ,it's too loud and too dangerous to flex @ home !

1st . I wanted to power it by the phobya 90watt power supply.but now im doing it by the Enermax Infiniti 720watt which is in the PC.

If i do it separately may i forget to turn it on !

2nd. I maybe will not do a Film over the Box (when it's done), Inside may i take a normal Spray ,Outside i will take a Hammertone Spray in Black or Anthrazit !

Should be all done in the next 1 - 2 weeks !

That was in the Years of Nforce 4 Chipsets (AMD) !

LOL, yea that would suck, but now they have automatic sensors that will turn the water cooling system on with the computer, and even let it run for a short time afterwards and set to turn off at a certain temp. Lots of automation now that wasnt available then. If you do use a leg off your PSU, I would suggest making a pig tail using thicker gauge wire to cut down on voltage drop.

Just picked up one of these for a mod I getting ready to do. You don't have to turn on the 2nd psu this way.
