Lol, I can imagine one reason being the drivers.

And so far, I'm leaning towards HD 7950, yet still like the GTX 670 performance...

It might sound childish, I don't really want to get the same card as my cousin...because I know he is going to brag about me copying him...*sigh

Hello. The best price performance today is the 7950.
But the 7870LE is also very good.

Could be even better in terms of bang for your buck.
The best 7950's is the MSI and Saphire ones, they have the best reviews and the best coolers, they are the way forward, Why get a mainstream card when you can get a highend card. (the 78XX series is considered mainstreem in AMD's eyes)

haha, interesting...HD 7870 using HD79xx chip..

Anyways, I think i'm going to go for the Gigabyte HD7950 Windforce 3GB. Went through some reviews and the cards temp is great~ Which is what I need in an ITX case, few degree of less heat will definitely help.

Now the problem is...How tightly does it fit in a Lian Li PC-Q08 >.<<br />
Problems, problems, problem...lol

Check out this review. It will give you some more solid metrics about how to compare. Unless someone drastically changed their cooling approach for the new ghz/boost edition cards, this should still be applicable. Personally, I went with the MSI for my 7950.

It was already stated earlier, but just to make you feel better your PSU is more than up to the challenge.

As for the HD 7870 LE, it recently bumped the hd 7950 out of tom's recommendation list. If you are willing to comprimise a couple of ultra settings you can probably make that last you until monitors over 1080p start decreasing in price.
