It was already stated earlier, but just to make you feel better your PSU is more than up to the challenge.
As for the HD 7870 LE, it recently bumped the hd 7950 out of tom's recommendation list. If you are willing to comprimise a couple of ultra settings you can probably make that last you until monitors over 1080p start decreasing in price.
haha yeah, I stumbled upon that review just now, and the MSI Twin razor isn't too bad in relation to performance and cooling capabilities.
And just now, I read another review for the gigabyte card...it measures to 27cm/270mm+/- which means its 3cm/30mm of space left to the fan infront of the case...so little space left, might cause a problem if I decided to mount the close loop water cooling radiator by the front...
MSI Twin Frozer measures to 26cm/260mm...doesn't sound much a difference tho...hmmmm

. I've been eyeing it up on Newegg on a daily basis. Such an awesome card, benchmarks are better than the 7870, overclocked can match/surpass the GTX 670.
The only thing - the freaking price! $300 is just breaking the damn bank for me. I seen one on ebay the other night, $244 it sold for WITH A WATERBLOCK!!! It was a steal, I wish I bidded on it, I'm stick kicking myself for it. I would settle for a 7870, but it's just not the upgrade I'm looking for. The super high memory rate and extra gig of memory makes the 7950 ideal. The ARE supposedly some driver issues with the card. But for the most part, the things I've read about it are excellent.
I agree...the price is a bit of a problem, and I want a decent upgrade with a good feeling behind it.
