The blue Vortexs are quite as hell of you put them at about 800 rpm for each (120mm, and 140mm) idk much about CFM but its seems pretty damn decent in my opinion. The specs say that it's 77Cfm or something

When I got my D5 i thought that it was a good idea just to check it out of the box water. That screeching sound it made still haunts my dreams tongue.gif, all in all there should be no problem with just some seconds dry test, I had mine run for 20''.

Unfortunately I can't speak from personal experience, but I respect Koolance products. PMP-500 is a beast of a pump but I don't know if it is noisy (no build-in speed control).
