Looking to upgrade my monitor.

Thread Starter
I'm receiving my financial aid refund soon and well, i might as well upgrade my monitor. It'll cheer me up because i'm taking a online accounting class and i understand nothing. xD

Looking for 23-24" 120hz
Possibly 27" IPS.

I mean i do nothing but game so maybe 120hz is worth it for me, but i have taken a gander at the overlord 27" 120hz 2560x1440p monitors, i could pick it up for 530$, it's a little bit over my budget of 400$ but it's an option.

Any ideas?

I got a i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz and a gtx 680 at 1240mhz.

CURRENTLY USE an asus vh242h.

I have both and I rarely use the 120hz dell. Honestly the real estate for the 27 IPS is better than the 120hz.

Well, one thing is i only play fps games so that's why i don't know if i should go for 120hz, or just ips.

or a overlord which has both + warranty

dunno if my budget is enough for a nice 27" ips. googling now though

If you want 120hz something like a BenQ XL2420T would be really good, I use one and love it. It also depends if you want a gloss bezel or matte bezel. The XL2420T has a matte finish which looks really nice! Another option for 120hz is the Samsung SA2750D which is another great 120hz monitor with from what I know a black gloss bezel. Both have good reviews so if you decide on a 120hz monitor either one of those is a great option!
