New kicka$$ build, but need cooling advice..

I'm building this system for a friend, he wants liquid cooling, but I've never installed it before. Here's what I want to know...

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=26556067

1) Is anything in this build incompatible with liquid cooling
2) What type of liquid cooling should I use, and what is typically required to purchase for liquid cooling? (tubes, coolant, etc)

everything is good to LIQ cool and it depends on price can get a 360 rad kit for just cpu that comes with everything you need for like 400$ are even less are you can go crazy and water-cool cards mobo cpu ram all that !

keeping in mind water-blocks ,fans, rads, fittings, coolant, pumps, res, and so much are needed to make your own custom loop !

if you look on my profile that watercooled rig is about 1300$ in just watercooling (some of it is hidden ) but there is a 1080 rad , 360 rad, 280 rad x2 655 pumps etc and im not even done with it still need 19 more 120mm fans

If you are talking full liquid cooling I would grab an XSPC Rasa kit since it is your first time. There are lots of video tutorials.

You'll want to head over the the Watercooling forums and they should be able to help you out pretty well with getting everything set up that you need. That's a very nice build you're putting together for him, but do you think you should be installing a custom watercooling loop for the first time on a almost $4k build that's not even yours? You'll probably want to pick a different case though, since you're going to need a good amount of radiators to cool that beast since you're running a LGA2011 CPU and 3 680's in one loop. That case doesn't look to have enough fan real estate for that kind of cooling.

Since no one mentioned it, you have laptop ram selected in that Wishlist biggrin.gif I suggest changing that to Desktop ram, ha. As for what kind of desktop ram, you'd have to get some input from more knowledgeable persons than I wink.gif

1. Get a 3TB Seagate Barracuda for less than the 2TB Seagate Constellation.
2. Get a Thermaltake AF0032 instead of the Enermax Magma (the Thermaltake has a higher airflow and is cheaper).
3. Get the OCZ Vector 128GB (faster and cheaper).
4.Get the MSI 680 Power Edition (better cooling and better overclocking capability) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127698
