Guys i think there's something wrong with my SSD - Page 4

I'm thinking 35-40 usd for a used SSD.

If it is going bad you will know because your system will be crashing all the time or your SSD won't be working.

The issue was my computer was freezing randomly. I think I narrowed it down to either my ssd that OS was installed on, or the SSD which my game was installed on. That picture of the bench was of the SSD my game was installed on.

If I were you I'd just RMA the drive, and if you won't use it again, sell it once it comes from RMA.

Enjoy that 840 PRO, amazing SSD. thumb.gif

can you post your drives smart data?

Get values for SMART data:
Download crystal disk info: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html

Open it and select your drive.

After that go to function > Advanced feature > Raw values > 10 [DEC]

Then post a screenshot of all the drive's smart data. (entire crystal disk info window)

I'm not sure what the bad block limit is for that drive, but if you hit it the drive should go read-only.

Since SSDLife seems to think you're pretty close and it's under warranty, I would just RMA the drive.

Also, looks like you never updated the firmware:

(I wouldn't bother, though - I would just RMA it.)
