[OCN's MOTM May 2013] ROG Gene V inspired TJ08-E mATX - Page 29

Have you tried jumpering from the PSU? rather than trying to power on with the case button?

It turned out that the power button on the case doesn't work. Using the power button on the motherboard turns on the system. The PC wouldn't post as a screw which held the motherboard onto the plate was grounding, so removing the screw made the computer post. I just have to fix the power button, transfer over the SSD's to the 512gb, configure the SLI setup and then I am back to playing!!!! biggrin.gif

Wow! Awesome job! Looks like I'm just in time for the finished product!

Thanks Jeff!! Might be a couple of days yet though.. The swedish celebrate a holiday here where they meet friends and family, light a bonfire in public, and get drunk. I have a family obligation to go to one of these, but cannot drink any beers as my wife is ready to "pop" any second and I must be able to drive her to the hospital. So no time to continue tonight or tomorrow morning frown.gif

Thanks pNUT. I have put in almost to much time and effort into this build in such a short time, but had to finish this quickly as I have a baby ready to be born... I wanted to be able to put this aside for the moment and focus on him/her smile.gif BUT there will be more improvements and upgrades in the next 6 months!

Thank you sir! It isn't exactly how I had imagined it as I have no more room left for much else (as it is an mATX after all) but I am happy with the end result!

To all who are reading this upgrade/mod log, thank you for the positive reinforcement and tips. You have given me inspiration to continue improving on this already fantastic case! I promise that more modifications are coming in the future!
