OOOO watercooling ! NICE!! thumb.gif

Thank you to everyone who has posted in this thread! smile.gif I am pumped about the water cooling. My wife has been a bit more forgiving when it comes to me updating the computer and doing more work on it, as long as it doesn't interrupt with housework, the baby etc. due to the recognition that I have received from this project, do that is a massive bonus!

So please, keep an eye on this space biggrin.gifthumb.gif

This is something that is yet to be decided... Many factors are now playing into effect right now. If a 350D were to land into my hands, I would definitely make something of it wink.gif

I find your lighting panels véry inspiring! Permission to copy the idea? tongue.gif

So if I understand correctly, you first have a white plexi panel, then put lights on them, then clear plexi and then aluminium on top?
Or was it the lights underneath the white plexi and aluminium on top of the white plexi? (I'm sorry if I should have read this log better tongue.gif)
I have clear plexi, black plexi, white plexi and aluminium available... And 2 meters of nzxt leds tongue.gif

Hey Gurt! I am extremely happy to have inspired you to do a modification, and especially to want copy my idea. Copy away mate, but please just pay credit to me when/if you put up a build log.

In answer to your question, the order that I have for my panel is like this:
White paper - LED lights - white plexi - aluminium plate.

I would recommend having more space than I have between the LED lighting and the white plexiglass. This is so that you will get a more even light spread and eliminate "blotchyness" on your white plexiglass panel. A 5mm clear plexiglass panel is sufficient. I would also recommend that you use LED strips that you can cut to length and solder yourself. This is because you would want the LED's as flat as possible as per my attached guide. If you go ahead and use the NZXT strips, you will find that you will have a hard time placing the strips close together. Here is a link to where I made the original light panel before I created the aluminium plate for it.

Good luck mate, have fun, be creative, and let me know when you are in the process of your modification.
