If I was staying in my TJ08-E I would look into customizing it a lot more.. But sadly (well not sadly) I'm moving onto ITX in the coming months.. The Lian Li M1 campaign-based case. It's tiny. Barely any room for anything fancy lol. I want the most powerful little box I can get for a reasonable price (Z87 i7, paired with my GTX 670 for now; maybe a 780 later?).

Honestly though even before your upgraded the attention to detail on cable management is insane.. I might have to re-do my cabling just because of you... And my right-side cable management is already about as neat as it can get.. Just behind the mobo tray is a little messy. I've got my SSD locked up in the 5.25 bay with a Silverstone bay device which holds a 3.5 device (in my case; my 3.5 fan controller for my AP 181/CPU fan). It's builds like these that make me think "I can always do a better job" when it comes to presentation and neatness of cabling.

Kudos to you! This is amazing work ^^

Wow dragon, it's comments like this that make me want to mod in the first place. I am happy the my build serves as an inspiration platform. I sure that you can do some unique things with your upcoming ITX build! smile.gif

=).

It's such a pretty case already though; with no window. I don't really wanna touch the Alluminum shell. XD.

I DID however changed my cables around the back of my board in my TJ08-E. Removed my bitfenix extensions (I don't have a window anyway... I just wanted them haha); used my standard cables with the PSU; but routed them as close as I could to your first picture (Straight line going down; with the cables splitting off appropriately). Whilst I didn't have many issues with my side-panel before; there was a tiny bump. Now it's all gone =). Less cables. Less mess! =D

It's a compliment that you are wanting to route your cables like I had. I just hope to see pictures of it smile.gif

As for modding, don't be afraid, just do!

Did you find cutting that section from the motherboard holder weakening the overall strength of the support? That bit that bends right next to the cable management holes. Because I find it highly annoying and would definitely consider cutting it; but I don't really want to alter the structural integrity of the case.

Haha I've got a before picture; Just no after atm. It's still messy up the top left/right because of spare cables/front panel cables (which you don't appear to use? The front I/O/USB 3.0; god that cable sucks to route).

But easily cleaner than before. I couldn't route my 8pin quite the same as I have my PSU as an exhaust internally so I wouldn't hear the tiny tiny coil whine it made at night which I could barely hear out the top tongue.gif. My system is very quiet... Lol.

You can see it's nowhere near as neat as yours. But I reduced a lot of clutter for sure. Noting the first picture was taken with a DSLR; and second with my phone lol. Might sleeve those ugly fan controller wires soon.. my fan controller/SSD/HDD sit up in the 5.25 bays so it gets messy up the top.

I considered cutting it out too. I would hesitate cutting it all off, but a section for your cables to route through shouldn't mess up your structural integrity too much. That is, if I understand what section you're talking about.
