Hey, just another small update.

I have just finished sleeving my AX850 PSU with black and red sleeving to match the ROG theme, and it is looking good smile.gif I will be looking at some ideas for the aluminum plate this weekend, and could probably use some feedback on what I should do with it.

Thanks for reading!

Update

So, I was knocking around in google sketchup today, and came up with a panel design to cover the 5.25 bays on both sides. It looks something like this..

Then, I was thinking about setting perforated mesh in the holes, which will be painted red painted red.

Opinions?

Update

Hey everyone. UPDATE TIME!

I started some work on the light panel, using the LED strip that I bought a week ago. Here is the update with a couple of pictures for you guys.

Here started to prepare the bottom plexiglass panel which will sit under the LED strip. I am cutting away a small chunk, as this is where the the motherboard's 8pin power cable connects up to.

I have cut the strips to the required lengths, and planning out their placement.

Pre tinning the connectors.

First wire soldered smile.gif

A couple of connections made.

Finished the soldering, and did a quick test. It works, but looks like crap under the white plexiglass.

So, does anyone have any suggestions on how I can diffuse the lighting so that each individual LED cannot be seen?

Thanks for reading smile.gif
