Going on a date, but I can't wait to see all your responses... Can you believe I've dealt with my iPhone 3G (got it right when it was released) for all this time? It's so slow (opening up Pandora, is one example)!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see how quick other phones are compared to my old one!

I really appreciate the responses I've gotten, even the unread ones (will be read soon).

I went from a 3gs to a 5 and it is nice. Apps open so fast and everything runs so smooth.
Truthfully my wifes 4S is just about as fast as my 5. I got my 5 for $99 (refurb black friday deal), otherwise I would have gotten a 4S (got hers as a $49 refurb).

One thing you need to think about, how much do you have invested in Apple apps? Pretty much none of them will transfer over (subscription services will, but not actual paid apps) to Android/Windows Phone/BB.

The great part is, I am not attached to any apple apps. I just use pandora (For music) and possibly AIM messanger (should be common applications).

The only thing I am afraid of: Moving to a non-iPhone and feeling the phone doesnt have a responsive touch screen (I know I'm referrering to my old iPhone, but is it true the iPhone has a better feel to it..in regards to moving the screen or scrolling down..than the other platforms?)

I went from a iphone 4 to a note 2(imo an upgrade in many ways) and I would consider the scrolling better on he note 2.

I just went into the store today, and luckily got a cute girl as a sales rep (she definitely wants to go on a date, but back on subject thumb.gif)... The scrolling seems to be up to par with the iphone 5 (comparing the Note II vs iphone 5).

I wonder how expensive the 1080p phones will be when they release, and if I should wait the supposed two or three months? Such a tough call, because the Note II is a huge upgrade from an iPhone 3G (not even an S), but I might be the type of person to regret not waiting the amount of time... (I just don't have a filler phone, and I have all these cute ladies I want to take out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I bet the Note II will cost me $300 + tax (I believe it's tax from the original sales amount).

I wish I had more money; There are so many females out here!

Seriously, I know I want a good phone because I upgrade every three to four years (just like my deskstop computers). So if this is the case: Should I wait two or three months (or do you think the wait would be much longer for AT&T to release a phone for sale with a 1080p resolution)?

IMO 1080 isn't worth the performance and battery life hit on such a small display, on my note 2 i have to get my eye about an inch away to differentiate pixels. If you really want 1080p get the htc DNA or (what i would do) wait for the note 3 which would be a while. (like October-ish)

If you upgrade every 3/4 years get the best you can get now/how long you are willing to wait.

My biggest fear is getting close to the phone because the resolution is too high. Usually when I have my 22" monitor at 1600x1200 (and I sit two and a half feet away) I have no problems, but when it hits 2048x1536 I have to get a tad closer.

October-ish for the Note III?

I am probably going to hate myself for not waiting.....

Maybe I should try to wait for the SGIV, but who knows if that'll be sooner released than the Note III.
