Introduction:

(CAUTION, my English sucks, i am an autodidact and learnt it browsing and playing online randomly)

Hi all,

this is my first log on overclock.net and i'm relatively new here biggrin.gif. I've been using this case for a while, at the beginning i wanted a liquid cooled system but i was too noob to build one for myself so i decided to buy a case with a integrated system: WORST IDEA EVAH.

The cooling system included SUCKS, really. The pump is extremely loud, the tubes and everything suck, for example the CPU waterblock, the 120x2 radiator and the reservoir. Now you know why i am building a new whole cooling system.

Just for science, here's the original cooling system:

Model: Bigwater 850GT
Radiator: 240 mm (included 2x fans 120 mm) ( pic )
Compatibility CPU WB: Socket 775, 1155, 1156, 1366, AM2, AM2+ ( pic CPU wb )
Pump: 500 L/h ( pic )
Reservoir: 330 c.c. ( pic )
Tubing: 10 mm

- My initial idea

- Finally my main package arrives biggrin.gif

- Fan controller, switches and AlphaLCD mounting, also some more pics

- Sidepannel cutting

- Finished Plexiglas sidewindow, Corsair Dominator 2x8GB mounting and random pics

- Mounted blue UV fans and received sleeving material from MDPC

- GTX Titan unboxing and small side panel project

- EK FC-Titan waterblock, 360 XSPC, Koolance bracket mount unboxing

Still waiting for:

- Blue UV dye (now it's green, that doesn't fits, really..)
- Mofset, southbridge and RAM blocks
- More blue LED fans for proper airflow (just a big 200mm in the front at the moment)
- blue and UV LED strips for the ambient
- New GPU and GPU waterblock, that'll add a 3x120mm radiator mounted on the back - outside - of the case (note that this will happen in a distant future, when'll have to change GPU)

Aaaaaaaaannnd..

My Idea:

Red: New radiator 2x120mm
Blue: Another 1x120mm radiator, It is just an idea. But i think i'll use the posterior fan spot.
Orange: Tube Reservoir
Yellow: The pump








If anyone is interested, my only diagram about the build is this one, and actually i am the only one capable of decoding it, so don't worry, lol.




What i've done so far:

Dismounting the old liquid system:
It is mounted in a double 5.25'' bay, it is screwed directly metal/metal, the loud and faulty pump may be caused by this crappy mounting doh.gif . Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thermaltake left me a nice gift anyways, i was unscrewing the double bay when i discovered that HALF of the screws are completely ruined, i had to saw the top of the screws and i managed to unscrew them with a plain screwdriver.

I also mounted a card reader on my only 3.5'' bay, unfortunately it was faulty (only the USB worked, i couldn't even see the optical drive in /My Computer) and had to return it (who knows when i'll get it back, lol.). Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I've also been studying a new thing: A 5.25'' bay with 5 holes for 5 switches, connected to 4 different colored LEDs inside the case and the fifth one connected to the internal temperature display, it was quite a challenge for me to figure out how to connect the cables, anyways i've been playing a bit with paint: Warning: Spoiler! So, i'll be able to turn on different type of LEDS with the front panel switches (2 different UV, one white and one blue cold cathodes). Here's the discussion topic.
