Then it may be your monitor, as I / we pointed out, but nevertheless, your issue about the loose ATX connection is far more important than this glitch. Forget this glitch for now. You should just focus on changing your PSU ASAP before considering anything else.

OCZ has a bad reputation. Now OCZ or not, if you don't intend to SLI, 850W is waaay overkill. For a single-GPU system, 550w is enough, up to 650w max if you OC CPU and GPUs and add fans & several drives. Buy yourself a good Seasonic 650 instead of an OCZ 850w. You may also consider the NZXT units (80+gold) or Corsair AX/HX series.

just to update, my problem disappears when i set refresh rate to anything but 120 hz. any ideas? fixed the psu problem too. it was just an extra wide pin in the 24 pin atx cable.

I had the same issue with this model, the top left of the screen flashed every 5 seconds, any refresh rate below 120hz, it was fine. I had to return it to TigerDirect and bought another one from Newegg and haven't been experiencing this problem since.

One user on Newegg claimed this monitor runs 25hz higher than native and provided a link to the Samsung site for firmware update. I tested it with vsync on and set it to 100hz, games still capped on 100hz mad.gif

Here's the link, you can give it a try
