Ive had no problems so far with my thermaltake contac 30 air cooler but ive been considering going 4 a closed loop water cooler.ull pay a little more but who cares the diffrence is 50 dollars or so,no big deal.the highest ive ever seen my cpu go was 40c and thats playing metro or fsx for 3 hours.....btw if I may add u did a hell of a nice job! Is this a 1st build for you?

Hi NZ, thank for the comments ! I know there are some really nice closed loop water and AIO water solutions.. But this is my really first build, where i bought everything piece per piece. For the moment and with my actual experience in hardware, i want to keep it classic. Those h100 looks great too... Maybe in the futur i will give a try on water cooling, ether closed loop or AIO. Still, for the moment, i am really reluctant about it. I just installed my first aftermarket cpu cooler biggrin.gif Give me time haha tongue.gif Btw, thank for your comment and i am glad that you think it is cool biggrin.gif Cya

A question... about my rear fan, which is the corsair AP140. There is the noise reduction adapter and it is working perfectly. The RPM on the fan is reealllly slow ! (it is running at 400-600 at most !). Is it enough to evacuate all the hot air ? Am i better to plug it straight on the board to 100%rpm (which will be a bit loud) ? Actually, my temp is real good so i am not going to change anything but... i was just asking ! What do you think about it ?

Just curious now. You have 2 140mm fans running 1200rpm moving air through the cooler. You have a 140mm rear vent fan running 470rpm. Assuming al of these fans move approximately the same amount of air at same speed, where is the 1200rpm air coming out of cooler going? the 470rpm rear fan sure isn't pulling it all out the back. wink.gif

That isn't a noise reducer it's a voltage resistor in that lowering the power from 12v down to 7v which causes lower RPM. You really don't need that at all, I leave mine on 100% and let it exhaust the air. You're not going to notice any added noise with the fans you already have running in there everything is going to hum along. The temps arn't going to get worse either if you're increasing the exhaust either, could possibly get better though.
