The FX 8350 can be overclocked to 5.2 Ghz too.
Hmm, I guess I will have to submit mine and my friends overclock settings. I mean I have mine at 4.5GHz as a daily overclock because I got to keep all the power saving settings.

Yes please provide me info on a i5 3570k undelidded at 4.9 Ghz , especially with an H100.

I have overclocked my brother's i5 3570k with a XSPC 360 Rad (MCP 655 + EK HF Supreme) and it doesn't wanna go past 4.6 Ghz with 77'C max temp(voltage core only at 1.26v) . I've followed the Official Delidding Club to see what you can achieve with a stock chip and I don't remember seing an 3570k stock at 4.9Ghz.

But you might be right !?!

I looked up more and more benchmarks and they are all over the place depending on who did it. Logan's, however, are hands down the weirdest results as they pit the 3570k and the FX as neck and neck. Nothing else really comes close to doing this.

Cooling does not matter much with IVY. I got 4.6Ghz with 1.365v and got 82C Load. All CPUs are different.

For me anyway, 82c is kinda on the hot side........and from the majority iv'e seen here heat has always been an issue going above a certain threshold with ivy, i've had 2 ivy cpu's and both had temp problems at higher overclocks
