Small, but powerful air?

Hey everyone! I have a good question for all of you.

Is there a good air cooler that can fit in the NZXT Guardian 921rb? I read it only has a clearance of 144mm so I know the massive ones like the 212+ is out. What do all of you recommend?

go for a closed loop water cooling kit would be the best bet imo

something like a tx3 might be ok, but like crispy said, closed loop watercooling is your best bet

or, you know, open loop biggrin.gif

Not a lot fits 144mm, but remove the side fan and 160mm coolers fit. There are many good 160mm coolers.

I suggest you look at cases designed to cool and not just for looks. Not a case with a fan dead center in the side so it blocks both CPU and GPU cooler height. Oh! But it looks nice! rolleyes.gif

I would haha but when I bought the case I didn't think it all the way through. So I'll stick with the case until I get the upgrade itch xP

Case only has 1x front, 1x back, 1x side, and 1x top vents?

You have the new model, not the old 2008 one?

I'm trying to find a new review to try and check it out.

The side fan may be low enough you can put a cooler in above it.

Other option is to remove side fan and use the 3x 5.25 optical bays as an intake vent.

No bottom vent, correct?

i bought a xigmatek sd963 for my silverstone case. You can add another 92mm fan to the back for push/pull. it works great if you can't fit one of the larger ones. newegg shows it's 134mm so make sure u measure first. It's cheap too.
