Well looking @ your ss. you got the 2 monitor in clone mode. take out of clocne mode and have the 120hz monitor in 120 hz, in clone more it mite jut sync up to the 60hz monitor and try to take out the 60hz monitor (to test) out completely.

Anytime I have hooked up another monitor, it knocks the BenQ back to 60hz. Then I have to go back into the settings and set it back 120hz. redface.gif

If you can't see the 120hz in desktop display settings, then it's the cable. Make sure you're using the dual link dvi cable.

It's definitely the cloned displays. Clone mode would force the lower screens res/hz.

I think you are correct. So, I disabled my monitor I'm cloning with. I was then able to set my benq to 120hz. Then I enabled cloning and it is still set to 120hz. I restarted my computer just incase and it is still set to 120hz!

Now, what still doesn't make sense is the fact that my FPS is going above 120 even with adaptive enabled. Could it be because I disable vsync in-game?

Yeah enable it everywhere to test the HZ first. You need it locking at 120 to be sure the screen is running at 120hz.

So I turned on vsync in CS:GO and the menu screen has 120 fps but in-game it was 180+. I then tried diablo 3 and on the login screen it was pulling 200+ fps then I turned on vsync and it is stuck at 60 fps. D:

Can you change a setting in the games from 60hz to 120hz?

Okay, this is pretty weird but apparently if I play a game in windowed borderless mode adaptive vsync doesn't work and it goes past 120fps. When I play in fullscreen mode both Diablo and CS:GO sit at 120fps.

So, it is working technically.

Edit: In the OP I stated that the sim city closed beta was only showing 1920x1080 60hz I can now confirm that it is showing 1920x1080 120hz thumb.gif
