Wondering which would be the better option , money isnt a factor on this build . going water cooled on CPU and on both GPUs and will be putting all this in a HAF-X Full tower case. options? Thanks.

i would go with the gigabyte board. More pci-e lanes, more sata ports, it's all black, and it's not an msi. biggrin.gif Power phase design is the same.

ok , GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7 VS ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z 990FX?
crosshair v. I have a Maximus V Extreme and am Extremely happy with it in every way. You have to like red on black though biggrin.gif
EDIT: Slightly less pci-e lanes on the crosshair. Looks like it will do 3way sli/crossfire where the Gigabyte will do 4-way. It's still a sweet board though, what i was going to buy before i got the MVE

Yeah kinda figured that might be your answer lol , was trying to stay away from the colored boards because this is gonna be a Green and Black build but all the awsome mobos are colored lol. ,thanks for your opinion
post #6 of 7
Ya, that ud7 mobo is pretty good one though, and should fit in with a green build just fine. thumb.gif
If you were willing to go intel, if money isn't a concern, then this is one of the best boards, and it's green and black biggrin.gifhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128552
There's also a micro-atx version too. Both are good OC'ers.
