For a few more pennies, you could get the GA-990FXA-UD3.

I have one, and I love it. Great for overclocking, and heaps of cool features. Looks very hansom too thumb.gif

If you're okay with aircooling I'd get the Thermalright Macho (not the 120 one) it is significantly cheaper.

thanks for that cooler stuff I would have a look at your suggestion . biggrin.gif

I would go with the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ mobo. Get the Samsung F3 Spin point 1 TB Hard drive instead of the Seagate baracuda. Will you consider getting an SSD in the future?

___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Edit: For $1500 I can build you a kick ass intel build with a 7970 ghz.

NZXT Phantom 410 ($99.99)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 ($99.99)
SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100351VXSR Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB ($439.99)
CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ($109.99)
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 ($47.99)
ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 ($139.99)
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz ($229.99)
CORSAIR Hydro Series H60 ($69.99) (The h60 is very quiet unlike the h100. I can't stand my h100 because of the noise it makes and the fans that it comes with aren't helping either. )
SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB ($139.99)

Total: $1377.91

I don't know if you can or cannot use newegg but I gave you the links just so that you can see reviews on there and the product itself. If you want to save even more money, I would drop the Samsung 840 pro ssd.
