I was going to go do what you said and guess what I found. As i'm taking out my 580, I happened to glance at the PCI-E connectors and on one of them it was a little melted. I replaced the cable with the other one that I had with the power supply and we'll see if it crashes.

Here is a pic of it.



It's hard to see but the top left contact on the six pin is the one that is slightly melted.

Woah, Lucky you caught that. I had a bad set of SATA cables ruin an SSD and a 500GB HDD...

Aww, that sucks. Hopefully this will solve all my problems though. I've played some games and I haven't crashed yet. Crossing my fingers. smile.gif
