Good to hear. Let me know what you think I should do in terms of mods when you get a chance to check out the images above =D

I don't have time to get into it right now but can see a couple of pretty easy ways to increase cooling.
*Can put a fan intake in the bottom GPU to give it good cool air... of course with a filter. Will need to raise it up 2" off the floor so bottom has good airflow.. Casters do that nicely.
*Can put a fan intake in the top too.
*Take out unused PCI slot covers and cut out back fan vent for easy exhaust airflow.

Depending on what critters are about that might try crawling into your case might need some less restrictive wire grills put on

Those all sound like pretty doable mods. I think the hardest would be getting the top intake done right. I'll take some measurements the next time I have the case out and try to do some planning.

No worries about not having time to get too into it. If you have the time later I would love to hear what you have, but for now that gives me enough to think about.

I often do a good measure-up of case and then draw it up in 1/3 scale. As big as a top, front or side will fit on paper. Sometime I'll tape 2 pieces of graph paper together. Than draw the fan holes, caster placement, etc. I prefer using 140mm fans but 120mm are good too. I like PWM fans on cooler and case because than I can use PWM splitere with molex power and control case fans with same PWM signal as CPU cooler. Everything idles at 700rpm but will ramp up as load/heat demand increases.

The rear fans are pretty choked with those tiny holes for breathing.. cut those out, and if need be put wire grills on.. also cut a hole for that 120 ya got in the front of the case.. the fan holes for your case look alot like mine used to

I think those should be quick and easy fixes. I'll probably do them when the CPU and fan I ordered get here on Monday. The big problem I'm seeing with the front 120 is that the front panel seems to have next to no air flow. It's pretty blocked off mad.gif
