What Nvidia GPU should I upgrade to?

I'm going to assume everyone knows this is a question based solely on finding the right Nvidia GPU to upgrade to smile.gif I will say my reason being, I am happily going to the ITX form factor, and being that you only have one PCI-E slot on the board, I want to make sure I have a GPU that supports PhysX. I will also be water cooling this card.

I've been looking around trying to see what cards catch my eye. I was thinking the 670, but I really can't justify spending that kind of money on something solely for entertainment right now. My rig for working is a completely different rig (GNS Geek). Another drawback most cards have for me is these doggon dual slot configurations. That is the one thing I loved and will miss about the GTX 400 series. Throw $20 at EVGA and you got a single slot bracket, and after putting a waterblock on you got a single slot flagship card. Profit.

So my parameters are,

Asus preferred, EVGA is absolutely out of the question.

Max budget, uh, $250 I guess.

Doesn't have to be new. It could be something right here from OCN. I love buying off members anyway instead of giving Newegg money.

Preferably a card that has a pretty nice looking waterblock available.

If I get an Asus card, a company I hold so dear, I swear to you that stock hideous heatsink/fan will not see the light of my rig before it is disassembled and slapped with a waterblock and a couple Bitspower fittings. Pffffft!

So with all that said, what will you be using card for? Its hard to find anything that you can turn into a single slot , most have the DVI plugs on top of each other .
Maybe this:

The card will be for gaming, and watching movies. My work rig is completely different. I will be using a 1920x1200 24" monitor now, but eventually I am going to get a LCD tv of 42" or bigger. I think I'm going to be FORCED, in a blink of irony, to go with an EVGA GTX 580. I think that is the most powerful card out that can be converted to single slot.

I'm getting the BitFenix Prodigy as a gaming case, so I don't know if the newer cards pose an issue in size. I honestly don't see why ASUS is manufacturing this ugly cards when all of their other products are aesthetically amazing.

If you're willing to buy PNY (no reason not to), this is the best deal right now. $230 AR for a GTX 660 Ti. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133466

One of the biggest things you left out is what games you play and what frame rates can you live with?

There are lots of great cards out there that are in your price range for sure. The question is how much power do you need.

If you are going to water cool the card then you definitely can get one a generation or two older card and overclock the hell out of it to increase performance, so without knowing the games you play and on what settings and resolutions finding the right card for you overclocked or not is rather hard to do.
