My SSD isn't recognized as an SSD by my PC

Thread Starter
I just built a Windows 7 PC. My SSD is showing up as having a scheduled defrag, beadyboost, ect.

My Bios is set to AHCI mode and I installed Windows 7 64 bit clean on my PC just a few minutes ago.

What do I do?

Run the WEI assessment. It should detect the speed and adjust accordingly.

Edit: Might need to update and then run the WEI. Not sure when full SSD compatibility was added to Windows 7; might be included in an update package.
