7950

Pros:

More Vram
Cheaper
Voltage control

Cons:

Slower at stock settings
Frame latency issues
Doesn't have a backplate

GTX670

Pros:

Looks better with the back plate
Arguably smoother experience as of now
Faster at stock clocks
Consumes less power

cons:

More expensive
Less Vram
No voltage control ( as far as I know)

Which one should I go for? I particularly like ASUS models because IMO they look fantastic, and aesthetics is important for me. the 670 is faster at stock clocks but OC idk which one's better.

Going to have to go with the 7950. I have a Powercolor AX7950 and it has a terrible cooler compared to the Asus 7950 but I can still clock it through the roof on stock cooling and it still stays pretty cool. Plus the 7950 will destroy a 670 in most games and anything that really uses OpenCL.

Thanks for the reply, I searched around and stumbled upon this;

http://www.overclock.net/t/1220328/behardware-asus-hd-7950-directcu-ii-fault-report/120

IDK if they've fixed it or not, but I don't see many ASUS 7950s around. I know the Giga and Vapor Xs ( Ahh why sapphire? ) are voltage locked, which leaves me with MSI.... I just don't like the brown PCB.

I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to irritate anyone.

Again, I'm really sorry.

for myself. I would go with the 7950 just because I switched to AMD because Nvidias drivers were driving me crazy.

No point in having a card that dont work the way you expect it to.
