AHCI DRIVER FOR P7P55D-E LX

Thread Starter

hello for all those having issues with the AHCI from IDE IN ASUS BIOS. there is a fix, simply torrent "windows 7 manager final {jazz_singh}" it's is a good torrent, no virus, after install use crack, when installed ignore warning to update, copy registry dont simply hit patch, and paste it into activate. after this you have full copy, but not most resent the most resent is 4.20. but this does the same thing. just ignore warning and it no. and then navigate to optimizer then system speed, and then you will see 7 boxes, check the last box that says "enable AHCI feature after windows installed". after you check this box reboot and go into bios. change your ide config to AHCI and when you reboot the drivers will be installed, and again will need to reboot. then your done." this is what is reads, the advanced host controller interface makes native command queuing (ncq) along with "hot plugging" or hot swaping through sata host controllers possible. the ahci feature will improve the read/write speed of hard disk. the issue with  AHCI is that it needs to be enabled in the bios prior to OS installation. this setting this setting enables AHCI after you have installed the os. after applied this setting you'll need to restart the pc and go into the bios and enable AHCI, when windows boots up it will finish installing the AHCI drivers, , sata speed transfer is so much better as well is boot time, please tell me if any of you found this useful. or if there was another way of doing it, for i am sure a registry edit could have done the same thing, also you will notice, in your boot order in bios that your hard drives installed will be renamed to HDD-PO1-and the hard drives model number for each installed. so it will be like HDD P0 HDD-P1 HDD P-2 and so on.
