I really like this one but I do not see any way for it to connect to the motherboard?

Go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, those coolers you linked aren't particularly good.

I do plan on ocing this cpu, i guess i shouldv mentioned that.
I really like that cpu cooler Andy, thanks for the recommendation, Great reviews and looks like it has adapters for various motherboards.

And I guess what i meant by "connect" means right now my stock cpu cooler has those four plastic pushable pegs you twist and push in to secure it to the motherboard. Will coolers that do not show that setup still work or would an adapter be needed?

the CM hyper evo comes with everything you need. it will have a backplate, screws etc to mount it. i had an evo but switched to this Prolimatech Megahalems Rev C which i find is a awsome cooler tho i am still trying it out. only thing is it doesnt come with fans but worth a look.
info from a thread i made enquiring.

Ok thanks.
On a side note, today I broke down my whole computer to give it a nice thorough cleaning, dusting and thermal paste change. And when i reinstalled everything i decided to use the motherboard manual recommendations in placing the two memory sticks I have into the 2nd and 4th memory slots on the motherboard, however it would not boot up. I had to install them into slots 1 and 2 to get a boot. Is this an issue I can fix? It seems to me separating the two memory sticks might help reduce a hot spot yes?
