How to setup Corsair link with H80i?

Thread Starter
I just assembled my rig and got ready to make a nice overclock, but when i ran Prime95 i saw it hitting 85-90c on stockclocks. i went into corsair link right after and saw that i had my fans on the quiet preset and went to custom but i were a little confusing for me and i really did not want to mess any thing up.
So can i kindly ask for somebodys settings for something like a 4.5 - 4.7 ghz overclock on a i7 3770k?

Does the h80 have a button on the CPU cooler with a fan on it? I know the h100 does and i think the coolers are the same minus the radiators. Make sure that button has pressed which will select the the cooler to the "high settings" . let me know if i did not understand your question.

make sure the heat-sink is proper screwed onto the mobo a buddy of mine had this happen to him with a different cooler but it made his temps outrageously high.

dont crazy with the thermal paste however youd be surprised at how secure those heatsinks need to be in order to do the job correctly.
