Ive choosen seasonic G series but cant decide on how much power i will need.

my specs will be

intel i5 or i7
asus p8z77
GTX 670 or 680

650w or higher, definitely, because this will allow you too SLI later. Never cheap out on a power supply.

500w would be enough for that, even with an Ivy bridge chip over clocked.

Go 650 if you plan on SLI later smile.gif

The Seasonic G SSR-450RM would power that system. If you were to get a 650w, you will able to SLI that 680.

500 easily enough for that build, but if you plan to ever SLi, go with the 650.

Neweggs PSU calc is crap. Also, output has nothing to do with quality. I'd take a quality 500w over a crap 1000w any day of the week

its actually 550w, you guys believe that one graphics card will be comfortable with it? I dont plan on SLI, just keeping the tradition of one card.

As previously stated, the SSR-450RM will be able be able to comfortably power that setup, so yes, the SSR-550RM will be more than plenty for it.
