best FPS mice - Page 5

Just posting again to recommend the Logitech G400 as few people seem to recommend it.

Successor to the MX518, which was successor to the MX510, both superb mice!

Using a deathadder at the moment, never felt more precise, but its not for everyone, I also have a g700, which is an excellent mouse, but if you are very picky you can feel the input lag of the wireless, most probably wouldn't notice it, but after using other mice it was noticeable to me.

In response to having a Logitech G300.

I do. I love it.

Semi-high DPI, few programmable buttons. Changeable LED lights. It has grown on me since I got last year. One of the better mice I have owned.

The price range makes it replaceable to very easily.

edit:
awesome did not quote correctly, not sure how to fix it

I think that if you want to go cheap and durable, the G400 is a great option. Great sensor too.

A lot of people seem to suggest the M60. I am not a fan. Little too heavy for my liking (120 grams or so if I am not mistaken), decent sensor but not as good as the G400, and I do not like the feel of mouseclicks or the "play" in the mousewheel that makes it rattle when moved fast.

The grip on the G400 is pretty good but I guess it could be slightly larger for me, I'm really just holding it with the tips of my fingers so I guess it would help a bit with accuracy if I could hold it with my whole hand.
The only thing i dont like about the g400 is that just above your little finger the lip/ledge is too small, it would help if it came out a few more mm, if you palm your mouse its bad at times when your lifting your mouse up when playing at 400dpi, if your claw grip its not such an issue as you can just squeeze more with thumb and little finger.

Maybe but its still an awesome mouse for the money.
I bought a Roccat Kone+ and it cost 3 times the G400 and it lasted about 3 months, in that time the coating wore off, lights stopped working and then it just failed all together. My g400 has far far outlived the Roccat and i am 100% the g400 is more accurate.

Well i recommend it, even if it the price was half again id still be happy with mine as its outlasted any mouse i have had and the coating/finger grip has not worn off at all. The only bad thing is the grip as i said earlier, it can slip sometimes when your lifting it up quick. Also the left click/button surface has gone shiny but it does not affect use at all, just looks a bit weird but i suppose its just a cheap plastic used.
