I'm wanting to acheive > 3.7 GHz with this chip and I was wondering if my recent purchase of a Corsair H80 was a wise choice or if I should stick with the 212 that I already own

If you're current cooling wasn't keeping up then the H80i is a wise choice.

But its good you got one. Way more overclocking headroom and it looks cool as well! biggrin.gif

I'm using this chip on an Asus Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ Should I be able to hit the 4.0GHz mark?
