Issues Overclocking Past 1ghz with 560 ti - Page 2

Thread Starter

Ive flashed my bios already and have an unlocked voltage, so I can go up much higher, however, I dont actually know how to increase clock speed with editing the bios. I'm pretty sure theres a way however to remove the barrier from the drivers by editing the bios, or getting some sort of hacked driver...

okay just another update, I have flashed the gpu bios with an edited one with the default clock speed of 1050mhz. It still doesnt work even when it is defaulted at 1050mhz, and only runs at 999.8mhz instead....

actually i think it happens with all the 500 series cards. The 550 ti also has trouble surpassing 1ghz as well. We dont see it as often in the 580 or 570s since they are clocked lower, and usually cant reach a clock speed of 1ghz.
