HELP Windows 8 error: No such partition Grub Rescue....

Alright so yesterday I wanted to dual boot ubuntu with windows 8 and everything was working fine. I then decided to delete the partition and then I installed linux mint to try it instead. After that I deleted the mint partition and put everything back to how it was with just windows 8 and rebooted. everything was fine.
After that I wanted to try running ubuntu in virtualbox. I wasn't getting very good performance and the instructions I found to get it to run in full screen weren't working.
It was late so I decided to just delete it and uninstall virtualbox and redo everything today. Well once I did that I rebooted and that is when I got this error:

error: No such partition Grub Rescue

I went ahead and just put in the Linux mint bootable USB I had and reinstalled mint this worked and let me boot into mint or windows 8.
I thought I was fine so I deleted the mint partition again so I can just run windows 8 and now I am getting the error again. So that is where I am at now.

This is my first time replying to one of these forums but I just had this issue last night and found the answer after reading your post. After I got everything to work I figured I'd reply here in case you hadn't solved it yet.

This website above was pretty helpful, even through it's meant for Windows 7, it gives you a basic idea of where to go. At the end you'll see a repair tool along with the Command Prompt in the 'Advanced' settings. I tinkered around with the command prompt at first like the link instructed but was still missing the NTLDR. I ran the repair tool and it was fixed in 30 seconds.
