Case with at least 8+ 3.5/2.5 drive capacity and good airflow? - Page 5

What do you mean about the cable management?

If you want great cable management, use a modular power supply, and then you're gonna want to route them far apart from each other behind the motherboard tray. You want to avoid overlapping cables.

I mean running data cables to random places where SSDs are but like I said, I could be wrong, that might actually make things easier.

Well if you're gonna stick them all behind the motherboard tray, I'd have it setup a little something like this.

Or if you get a case with enough 3.5bays you could just mount them in there, it would be alot easier, and tidier I'd imagine.

That is true in both cases. So with the budget I have to work with what would be my best option? Probably a caselabs?

I was just tossing it out there. I'm not a big fan of excessive plastic either. That's why I rarely if ever suggest a particular case.
Wait a minute. What's that housing "The Brutist"?

I'm a little confused now, not gonna lie. XD However I was looking into the SMH10 possibly? I know I could afford it and it is pretty much like a 900D. By that I mean it has a bottom chamber like the 900D. I know I could probably get an SM8 or something like it and a pedestal a little cheaper but I would prefer a solid look vs knowing the two pieces are separate parts. I may change my mind if I find the savings are actually there and significant enough to warrant the change. So thoughts on the SMH10 vs the 900D?

If the 810 had at least 2 more 3.5 bays I would consider it, the only NZXT case i actually like. So the list right now seems to be

In consideration
Fractal Design Define XL R2
Corsair Obsidian 900D

Maybes
CaseLabs MAGNUM SMH10
Rosewill BLACKHAWK-ULTRA
AZZA Genesis 9000

I added the 9000 because I have always liked it and it can hold a good amount of drives, so I thought it could be a maybe. i don't nknow how good it is for watercooling though.

The 900D is Incredible for Water cooling!

Literally one of the best.

Yeah, but I probably won't be putting it under until maybe the end of the year. I'd have to save some more money after the initial build. So it will be on air for a good portion of the year. Plus there's the planning and picking of parts that I will have to start working on after I get the build finished.

I thnk the 900D is in the lead over everything else though. I just need to find a place where I'd put it. my desk isn't huge but I am sure I could fit it on here. Just need to do some rearranging.
