30" Inch Yamakasi 300 Sparta 2560x1600 S-IPS Monitor - Page 18

If anyone is interested in getting the best image quality...

I just got done reading and following this thread http://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds

I noticed that when i got rid of unneeded services on my drive, basically taking a huge load off my system, it allowed the color value to improve dramaticaly.

There is no longer a sense of perhaps a subtle saturate in the high reds. The color depth is much nicer, it almost seems as if the contrast ratio improved as well, my second monitor looks much crisper as well.

read "System Setup after Installation" and "Optimizations after System Setup:" It's when you get to "Disable unneeded services:" and download the client to tweak your registry is when it shows.

But yeah, basically improving your systems performance is clear to me that it brings this monitor to life truly.

(i think this was discussed here threads back)

thats the craziest thing I ever heard of. Nothing should affect image quality based on services...wth? like shutting off my water increased my voltage to my tv?

Okay, so i joined the forums during a great period of computer optimizing... excuse me for the naivety.

That being said, SMARTv2 is a great utility product thumb.gif

disappointed. Not worth dealing with Paypal and sending back all that mess;). I do have cracking in speakers. So that's why I'm little concerned even though I do have a fan cooling powerbrick.

cool. would be great if you let us know how that new brick works and relative temp. Finally, I dont mean to get too sour on this, but the other thing is the hot bricks are a potential fire hazard.

Yah, I E-Mailed that ebay seller about that powerbrick and it is 24V and 7A output, for the Yamakasi 300 Sparta. 68$ is ouch. Welp, green-sum marked my order as shipped today (Monday) via DHL. So we shall see how it comes. The E-bay listing I purchased it from said, "We provide an adapter for us, canadian buyers." and "110 ~ 220V adapter included" but I dunno if that means the little white thing to adapt the prongs or an actual 110-220 power adapter brick. Guess says I get the cheap ass LOADUS 190-220V. Man I'm pissed. It hasn't even got here yet, and I'm pissed. I want that USA adapter on ebay but I don't wanna pay 68. Ugh. Sorry for the rant. mad.gif

So I am curious, has ANYONE gotten one of these Sparta 300s and the included power brick worked just fine and never had any problems??

The only issue ive had with mine was related to my video card having issues with the dual link dvi port, other than that mine has been working great adapter does get warm but it's not hot my any means.
