Mine is also on its 5th day and had no problems. Brick did get hot so I put a fan on it. No issues to report other than power brick which is well communicated on this forum. I ordered the us power brick and will report back this weekend compared to the one it ships with....hope this helps. It is really a great monitor and is by far the best addition to my rig!

So, I ordered Sunday afternoon. This morning early, I saw a notice that it had been shipped DHL. Then, this evening, I get this email:

Hello, this is Green-Sum, the eBay seller.
First of all, we would like to say thank you for your order. We will always make our best efforts to support you.

We are writing to inform you that your order will be a little delayed. We received the monitor from the manufacturer and we tested it. However, it turned out to be a faulty. So we sent it back to the manufacturer. We did not want you to receive the faulty one. As soon as we get a new one from them, we will test it again and ship it. It wouldn't take so long. We think it would take 2-3 days. We estimate that we could ship it on either 6th or 7th. We are deeply sorry for your inconvenience.

Once we ship it, we will provide its tracking number.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Again, we are sorry for your inconvenience.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Green-Sum

Interesting. I didn't order pixel perfect, I just ordered from this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120988598129

Now when I look, the price is raised 100$ from what I paid.

Hope it all works out. Thoughts?

Hello everyone,

Has *anyone* been able to run this monitor on Linux (Fedora) + nVidia card?
Well my monitor does not like coming out of normal monitor sleep anymore. get lines, upon reawake. Asked for new power supply from Krusdeal, my ebay seller and told to check my voltage here...ROFLMAO.

He actually tried to send me to an thread here on these very forums to inform me about my problem.

Instead of sending me new power brick all I asked for he says to just ship back.

Fedex is 320 dollars to Korea. PP and Ebay do not cover return shipping, so if you are hosed, you are hosed.

For now I turned off monitor sleep and its wakes ok from system sleep...I ordered a 120v adapter at my own expense.

So stay away from this guy.

Sorry for not reading through the entire thread, but how noticeable is the 10-bit display? Is it bad? Is it as big of a issue as people make it sound? I'm drooling for this monitor over at ebay where they go for about 530€ for pixel perfect version which is a steal.
It's not a 10 bit display, it's 8+FRC. This is a wide gamut displays and 99% of content is created for the sRGB color space, not the adobe RGB color space (wide gamut) so colors will look over saturated and inaccurate. .

If you want content to look the way it was originally intended to do not buy a 30 inch monitor. If you can afford one of these you can afford a good 2560x1440 display with a real warranty.

Primarily, I would say if you're looking for an awesome amount of screen space at this resolution, it isn't that bad of a deal. In fact it's a wonder navigating through programs a midst a browser or two open, with still so much space to fill up.

Personally, im trying to start a career in film (starting off shooting for local businesses, real estate, etc). I revved up Premiere and couldn't be more satisfied with the colors. Its great, at least as my eyes adapt to anything that is slightly less Adobe certified.

It works for me. Now seeing potential serious work down the road, where color grading will be a big thing (Ehem Blackmagic Cinema Camera line), thats when I will switch.

Also if you're a gamer, this might be the best deal for monitor you'll ever get. party.gif:

Thank you Dawn for your helpful input. I just like to start by saying that im PRETTY new here, so hello my fellow nerds!...just ordered mine an hour ago (fingers crossed) I was just wondering, would it be possible to hook us up with your color/calibration settings via Nvidia control panel? that would be great. Again, thanks!
