Looks very nice but LCD makes it a no go for me , I'll stick with my Shimian QH270 untill i see either 27or 30inch LED IPS 120Hz whistle.gif (one can dream) or at least 30inch LED
How is the quality btw ? any light bleed , stuck/dead pixels ?

You do realize that your 27" display is an LCD display, right? LED is the backlighing.

I firmly believe that the OP and a couple of others in this thread are working for this company and posting just to advertise themselves.

Johnworfin (the OP) has 12 posts, registered in Jan 2013, and comes in telling us that he ordered a monitor and needs us to describe our experiences with it.

Immediately, dnl4ever, who registered in October of 2009 and has NEVER POSTED tells us that he's "also interested".

The OP then tells us he'll post pics and think it will be "great".

Then dnl4ever, who's been here for 3.5 years asks him where he ordered it from.

Then the OP tells us where he bought it from and for how much and then later tells us it is an "amazing" monitor.

Then Mr 3.5 years asks about it and the OP advertises it again.

Then a third poster, sp27, who's had 33 posts in a year asks about it again and then says why this is so much cheaper than other monitors.

And then blah blah blah, more advertising etc...

Every since these Korean monitors came out, there's been soooo many of these threads around the forum where people come in trying to advertise their product, service, or company. It's sooo fishy and suspicious to me. Does anyone else see this across the forum too? I've been paying attention to these types of threads for many months now.

CCFL LCD displays are, in general, better for image quality than your standard LED LCD. LED is for power & form factor (and cost) benefits.

WOW-That was hilarious i7monkey.

I can assure you I do not work for the Yamakasi company. I am just a regular consumer that had been researching these units for a while and couldn't find much information on them-so I came here to ask. I decided to take the plunge and buy one and I think its a great unit.

I just thought other people that were in a similar situation as me might benefit from my experiences.

I suppose that every time you read a positive review of a product that it must obviously be a "fake" review and a plug for a product.

Wow just RELAX-GEEZ.

If I had to guess, I'm wrong 1% of the time here.

You just joined about a month agao and you're asking about a monitor and then someone who made an account 3.5 half years ago and NEVER posted IMMEDIATELY starts asking you about it, then there's an infomercial-like banter between you guys advertising where you got it from and how much the price was and how awesome it is.

I don't believe for a second that you guys are honest here.

I7monkey,

Well, I don't know what to tell you-I guess this is one of those 1% occasions here.

I don't really care what your suspicions are-I was just trying to be honest about my experiences with this monitor and "thought" I was being helpful to others. If you want to take my post as some sort of advertisement then go ahead-I really dont care. I just know that when I was in the market for a 30" monitor I was stunned at the prices until I heard about this brand. I was obviously a little hesitant, but still went ahead with the order and am very satisfied that I did.

I dont really understand what the number of posts even determines in your mind? That you have been a member here for a while? So what? I started looking at 30" monitors around Nov or Dec. I joined this forum thinking someone could either tell me about the 27" model or anything about this one. I just don't understand your logic?

And I am also starting to wonder about your Nvidia Avatar.....do you work for them? You're obviously promoting them every time you post-all 1243 of them.

My logic is perfect. This board has been filled with dummy accounts trying to advertise products, services, or companies. Especially since the release of these monitors in the last year.

There's been a ton of these types of threads asking about unknown products and they're filled with back and forth banter between posters who have almost zero posts and guys who've been here for years but who have never or just barely posted.

This thread is super fishy to me. A guy who just registered asks about a product and then another guy who's been here for 3.5 years suddenly starts asking him questions like a god damn infomercial.

How much is this product? I'm very interested myself.

Well Bob, this product does x,y, and z, and it only costs 19.95!!

Where can I buy this amazing product John?

You can buy it at _____ for a low low price and excellent customer service! I'm happy that I bought it!

Thank you John, I'm glad I came here to ask you!
