Why pick a PNY card when you can pick a gtx 680 from companies like EVGA, Asus, MSI, Galaxy, or Gigabyte?

Edit: On newegg, the PNY Gtx 680 4 GB is $579.99. The MSI 4 GB gtx 680 card is $529.99. The GIGABYTE GTX 680 4GB is $539.99. The EVGA gtx 680 4 GB is 549.99.

I got the pny 4gb because I picked it up locally at a Frys, they had it for 479.99 after rebate and didn't carry the 4gb from EVGA.. was I picking from a website I would have probably gone with an EVGA model card because they are known to be a reliable brand. I have had pny before in the past though so I was okay with it and I've never had any problems with them, their build quality overall has always been awesome with the cards I've gotten and I've never had to RMA them.

As for the OP if you are ordering from a site like Newegg or something else I would go with a cheaper card there really isn't much difference between any of them other than brand and the warranty that comes with the card.

I think PNY has a really slick looking plastic housing on it... Gold and black... makes it look more expensive. That was my reasoning at least.
