good for overclocking? cant find info online.

Thread Starter
I have some patriot gamer series 2 ram. I'm going to be buying a better mobo to overclock my 1090t. Wondering if my ram is ok for overclocking . If not thinking of buying some of the so called samsung "wonder ram" . I looked at it. It looks so plain and simple but people talk so good about it. Anybody know if my current ram is ok? Thanks.

You could probably get an OK overclock out of them but the Samsung is better since it's low voltages. You can still get them on amazon.

Depends on the speed. There is a fine line between DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600+.
