Z68X-UD3H B3 (1.3) How can I Downgrade to F12 from u1h (Uefi) - Page 2

Hey. I am actually trying to do the same thing on a hacintosh. I upgraded to uefi U1L and it was terrible. I have tried to flash back down to F12 but apparently the board doesn't like the file I downloaded from the Gigabyte website. What did you end up doing?

Gear mentioned in this thread:

I too would like to know. Is there a problem going back to f12 of you boot from flash drive. I upgraded this morning and already hate it. The offset doesn't work, keeps putting me at 1.4v for 4.0 GHz when i had it running fine at 1.18 this morning...now it won't even let me in the bios..

So what about people with a 64 bit OS?

I did as per post 11.

Worked good on my ga-z68xp-ud4 v1.0

Gigabyte's retro uefi bios isn't a good move.

Download f12 bios from gigabyte website
Make bootable usb drive(I used rufus)
Download EFI2AWD.EXE
After booting from usb run EFI2AWD biosfile name
it will restore the bios back to normal
