uninstall msi afterburner. push your core clocks to 1050 mhz in AMD CCC. set power control to +20%. check if your card is rock stable in all games and benchmarks. if it is stick with it. save yourself the headaches. if you want voltage OC try and use sapphire trixx.

Yep I'm at 1170/1550 on stock voltage and I just played a game of battlefield and my temps (including VRAM) didnt go over 46c. See, I knew my card could over clock pretty well and that something was holding it back. My god, I'm so incredibly happy you just saved me so much hassle, btw it wasnt fraps it was just afterburner. Thank you so much!!!!!!

and just as I suspected Far Cry runs flawlessly also. Ive have my CPU OC'd to 4.4Ghz for a couple days now and this just puts the icing on the cake. THANK YOU. Words cant appreciate all of the help that you guys have given. 12 pages worth to be exact. This is so appreciated everyone, really it means a lot to me.

and I just hit P9927 in 3dmark11! Yay! I kept raising my clocks up by 25Mhz increments and my temps were still very low so I got all the way to 1200/1575 on stock voltage. Not one stutter, not one flicker, no horizontal lines, nothing but smooth gameplay.

you are welcome. looks like you got yourself a very good card. amazing clocks at stock voltage. good temps. i would say 1150 mhz at stock voltage for 24 / 7 rock stable in all games is a good place to be. enjoy thumb.gif

Hey, Ravage... Are you using the Texture Pack Combiner for skyrim? If not then you really need to check it out, you can find it at nexus. Thats what im using and i have all the highest versions of each mod running on a 2560x1440 monitor with a single msi twin frozr 7950 and a 2500k @ 4.5ghz.

Yea this card rips up Skyrim and spits it back in my face!!! I love it haha. I have v-sync enabled, but it has never dropped below 60fps, not even once. I'm actually very picky about my textures. I have over 150 mods to make the game look exactly how I want it. I have 2k textures, serious HD retexture, hectrol caves, re-defined dungeons, improved ruins clutter, static mesh improvement, WATER, Landscape texture pack, 4k improved rock mountain textures, lush trees, lush aspen trees, glorious grass, Hybrids Hires Plant and Herb Retexture, trees HD skyrim, better dynamic snow, real snow, real ice, HiRes Tree Stumps, HD Ivy, Hires road signs, Real smoke and embers, HiRes clutter and furniture, HD furniture & barrels, HQ paper, HQ food and ingrediants, HQ workbench, HD bar retexture, HD soul gems, Better looking gold, HD rings, Better circlets, realistic instruments, 1k claws, HQ chickens, HD Words Walls, enhanced blood textures, Chris2012s Whiterun HQ Texture Pack, High -Res- Hrothgar, HQ College of Winterhold, HQ Towns and Villages, Sexy Villages and Towns, Markarth Retextued, Riften HQ textures, Sexy Windhelm, Solitude Texture Pack, Climates Of Tamriel, Real Rain, Realistic Lighting Overhaul (my favorite mod ever!!), Enhanced Night Skyrim, Enhanced Vanilla Dragons 4096x8192, Improved Giant Textures, Better Beast Races, and that is all I feel like typing right now haha, but yea all of these mods plus maybe 60 more doesn't even make my game stutter. I have an OC of 1200/1575 @ stock voltage (1.125v) with power to 20% and intel 3570k @ 4.4Ghz at 1.1v with .016 added turbo boost voltage. Do you use any other mods?
yeah, most of those mods are in the texture pack combiner, you should at least read up on it if you havn't, you could probably save some hd space so that you dont have unused overlapping textures or worse meshes clashing with each other.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20801

have you got any ini. mods?

I have one of these cards and am unable to change the voltage. No matter how low I set it in afterburner, it runs at 1.25v.
