http://www.amazon.co.uk/Seasonic-S12II-520-ATX12V-Standard-Supply/dp/B00390P1NO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359447951&sr=8-1

That's a good buy, and if you don't plan on SLi, it should run well.

i have alot of power sapping stuff. think a 520s gonna cut it?! i was thinking 700w+ purely to be in the sweet spot for efficentcy, plus i fold 24/7 on the cpu. rolleyes.gif

Between the OC'd 2600k, and the 580, you're looking at ~400w tops. Add SSD and HDD, and you're at ~420.

Not sure if your 8 fans are pulling 100w, but I guess that's something to think about. Your build, your peace of mind. It's important! I'll keep looking.

You'll have a buttload of headroom with that. 700w is overkill imo.

A 520w is more than enough. Have you tested you PSU at all? You can download OCCT it has a built in psu tester. For 20 or so you can buy a psu tester to tell you if the psu is going bad. Also should start an RMA with OCZ it should be under warranty.

Given your previous post about GK110, and using 580 as a PPU, that's a great PSU.

I'm not saying I don't overkill, I just like to save people money where not needed tongue.gif
